Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-
Assess and treat students with speech, language, voice and fluency disorders.
-
Participate in team meetings for the identification of students with disabilities and the development of IEPS and implement provisions of IEPs accommodations for students.

Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with staff, administration, students and parents along with maintaining confidentiality of information.

Administer and evaluate hearing and speech/language tests or examinations to students along with developing and implementing treatment plans for problems.
Overall qualifications include:
-
Prefer a minimum of two years of school-based experience. Will consider experience with school, graduate placements.

Understanding of Special Education, including processes, programs/services, legal requirements, and fostering the development of student growth through effective practices.

Demonstrated outstanding organizational and communication skills.
-
Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
